Definitions
Definition: Safeguarding

Safeguarding is the action that is taken to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. This includes protection from abuse, preventing harm to health, ensuring a safe environment and taking action to enable children and young people to have the best outcomes. (NSPCC, 2016)

Code of Conduct
The aim of a Code of Conduct is to ensure that all DHL colleagues involved in a Go Teach Programme or activity understand the importance of protecting the children and young people that we support through the Go Teach programme, our colleagues and ourselves
