· Do share what your local activities are
· Do not discuss donations or activation budgets
· Do not name customers, unless explicit consent has been previously sought OR unless customers have participated in a GoTeach activity and you have received permission from them to mention them for their GoTeach participation
· If questioned on the business:
o do not discuss revenue/ profit figures
o do not discuss / mention market-sensitive information (e.g. M&A deals in planning).
· Everything you say is on the record, do not say something that could be misinterpreted or quoted in the upcoming story for example, if there was a negative engagement with a youth.
· Use simple terms where possible and anecdotes to illustrate your points.
· Do remain positive and upbeat about the messages, announcement or activity you are getting interviewed on
· IMPORTANT: Do stay in control of the topic at hand - reporters may try and draw you out for other stories (e.g. State of business operations), but you should try to bring it back to the topic of the GoTeach partnership.
